Acton Chinese Language School (ACLS) is a non-profit organization whose aim is providing an educational and cultural setting for youngsters and adults alike in Acton and its neighboring towns to learn Chinese language, traditions, and culture.

This item is good for one free registration of a Chinese as Second Language (CSL) class during the Fall 2025 semester.

Chinese as Second Language (CSL) classes are designed for students from non-Mandarin-speaking families to develop basic skills in Chinese language and to be exposed to Chinese culture.

There are three levels of CSL classes offered at ACLS: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. These are further broken down into sublevels based on students’ age and skill. Each class takes at least one year to complete. Students who have completed one level of a class and passed the assessments may be admitted to the next level class. Teacher's recommendations, completeness of homework assignments, and parents' input will also be taken into consideration.
