This year each 1st - 8th grade student created their own clay star which was attached to a wreath to create a wonderful class keepsake. The stars were made during art class. The students rolled out a clay slab, used a cookie cutter to cut out their star and then they could choose to embellish with either texture boards, stamps, or carving tools. Each student also added their name using alphabet noodles. The last step was to use glaze to paint their stars. The stars are attached with a wire and the wreath can either be hung or make a beautiful tabletop wreath.
