As one of Ms. Burton’s kindergarten students said, “These hearts show that we are all friends!” That is the perfect way to put it and beautifully describes our class art. Each of our students used watercolor paints and watercolor paper to decorate their own heart. They chose what colors they wanted and used their creativity to personalize their heart.

We learned that if we use a lot of water on our paintbrush, it helps to make the painting more vibrant and beautiful. Each heart turned out so special and unique! Each child then wrote their names on the mat surrounding the hearts, to give it an extra personal touch. The finished product turned out beautifully and the children were very proud to see their art displayed in a frame. It will be the perfect addition to someone’s home!
