The students in Lower Elementary North created a beautiful world map using tissue paper. The color of the tissue paper corresponds with the Montessori continent map that students are first introduced to in Primary. The continents have different colors to promote memorization through association. While making this artwork, the students crumpled pieces of tissue paper and glued it onto a map which was then
mounted in a 17" x 21" frame.
