Our "We The Future" Contest Winners are an outstanding group of young people who will soon be embarking on an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC! On this trip, they will have the unique opportunity to see the U.S. Constitution come to life through VIP tours of the U.S. Capitol, National Archives, participating in Constitution Day activities, and much more!  

As Best College PSA Winner, in addition to the mentor trip, Shaynlin wins a $5,000 scholarship! She will be writing her trip sponsors to let them know what she is learning throughout the trip.

Shaynlin Smith is a 20-year-old graduate student from Drexel, Missouri. She spent the past two years studying business and psychology at Central Methodist University (CMU) where she was involved in the Student Government Association, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Pi Epsilon, and Omicron Delta Kappa. Shayn recently graduated from CMU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is currently enrolled in Central Methodist University’s Master of Science in Clinical Counseling program and plans to graduate in 2027 as a licensed professional counselor. In her spare time, Shayn enjoys crocheting, writing poetry, and spending time with her family. She is very honored to have received this award and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to use her creativity to promote patriotism!
