Our "We The Future" Contest Winners are an outstanding group of young people who will soon be embarking on an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC! On this trip, they will have the unique opportunity to see the U.S. Constitution come to life through VIP tours of the U.S. Capitol, National Archives, participating in Constitution Day activities, and much more!  

As Best College Social Media Video Winner, in addition to the mentor trip, Aurora wins a $2,000 scholarship! She will be writing her trip sponsors to let them know what she is learning throughout the trip.

A note from our winner - 

Hi, my name is Aurora! I grew up in the beautiful state of Washington, where I love to spend time with family, do anything outdoors, do anything crafty/hands-on, learn new things, read, and do things that help me grow my testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am in my first year of college at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and it has been quite the adventure so far!

I came across the Constituting America scholarship competition as I was looking up different scholarships to apply for. Learning about the constitution has always been fascinating to me, and I enjoy stop-motion as a hobby, so when I saw the requirements for the social media vide category I thought, “This is perfect!” While I’m not sure if I will do anything career-wise with social media or stop-motion in the future, I definitely enjoyed making this video!

While I’m still figuring out what to do for my future, I’m so grateful to Constituting America and Heavenly Father for this opportunity so I can continue to learn and grow.
