Elmer Farm is a sought-after, long running, certified organic vegetable farm with a successful CSA located on Case Street in East Middlebury. Members pick up vegetables of their choice each week during the farm stand open hours from mid June through early October. The CSA uses a farm stand credit model Members are not required to pick up a weekly share rather they can shop at their convenience. A basic pick your own membership is included. The crops included in the basic pick your own are flowers, cherry tomatoes, kale and chard. These can be picked on a weekly basis once the crops ready. Members receive newsletters for updates about picking, where to park and other important information. Members must also comply with Elmer Farm directions for parking and their no dog policy. Members can pick Monday through Saturday from 7am to 7pm and must bring their own supplies such as scissors for cutting, a vase, etc. The farm stand hours are Wednesdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
