Our winemaker, Bruce Devlin, says that the wine has a refined palate with full, rich, silky tannins adding strength to the finish. Deep garnet-purple in color, it springs from the glass with pronounced black currant cordial, plum preserves and blueberry pie scents plus touches of dusty soil, stewed tea, tobacco and wild sage. Cab is King! Making premium wine starts with this Valley and great grapes. Karl Lawrence Cellars has sourced grapes from some of the finest vineyards in the Napa Valley since 1991. These vineyards include Gary Morisoli, Herb Lamb, Henry Brothers' Ranch, Healy, Stagecoach, Beckstoffer's To Kalon and Dr. Crane.
Since 2013, we have been sourcing grapes from the Pocai Vineyard in the Calistoga Appellation, and the Fig Tree Vineyard at the base of Howell Mountain, in the St. Helena Appellation.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 7, 2025, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and the purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 11, 2025, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. The purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 10 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
