A group of 2 to 8 guests can spend a day at Canterbury Shaker Village, enjoying a Shaker-inspired picnic lunch (featuring pie!) and being guided through several interesting spaces not typically open to the public by one of our interpreters. This is an excellent and special way to enjoy a beautiful historic place while learning about the history and material culture of the Canterbury Shakers.

Canterbury Shaker Village won Preservation Acheivement Awards in 2005 and 2017.
