Enjoy a fun, nature-filled outing with Ms. Vestal and Ms. O'Brien! Learn all about native plants and birds on a nature hike through the Presidio. Use binoculars to spot animals from far away and keep track of all of your observations in a nature journal. Who knows what cool things we will see! Perhaps a red-tailed hawk named Forbes will show up …

Starting at the Presidio Wall Playground we will try to spot nesting Great Horned Owls, Barn Owls, and hummingbirds. We will make our way to Mountain Lake Park, where we will enjoy a picnic together and keep our eyes peeled for some cool ducks. We will learn all about the native plants and animals that call the Presidio home.

Please come ready to walk with a full water bottle and good walking shoes. We’ll provide the snacks.  Please let us know about any allergies in advance!
