Here we have a beautiful handcrafted wooden bowl made by one of our preschool student's grandfather, a former surgeon turned woodworker in retirement! 

This beautiful bowl is made from Ash wood and measures about 8 inches in diameter. It would be great for snacks or on display!

Thomas Anthony Colacchio (TAC) found his love for woodworking in retirement from his career as a general surgeon. Though he had been dabbling with furniture making for years, and has always had a knack for carpentry, it wasn’t until he retired in 2016 that he could really devote his time and energy to this budding passion. In recent years he has gravitated towards turning bowls, which is proving to be his greatest joy yet.
