Allison Muir is a San Franciscan-born interior designer. She began her visual practice within the film and video industry. She has designed for ReadyMade magazine, coordinated post-production for clients such as Industrial Light and Magic, Dreamworks, and Pixar, and has produced and written for Al Gore’s CurrentTV. Allison coordinated the 3D Design Studio for an architectural firm producing 3D renderings and animations, which helped transition Allison toward her path to interiors. That sent Allison to the U.C. Berkeley Extension program for a multi-year intensive Interior Design and Architecture program. Allison holds a degree in Film and Video from U.C. Santa Cruz and has also studied at the University of Sussex in the U.K.
