Sometimes MRFRS takes in kittens that are only a week or two old who have lost their mother. These little fur babies need important nutrients in their first month of life and are bottle fed kitten formula by our staff and wonderful foster care volunteers. This kitten formula comes as close as possible to the milk a kitten would get from its own mom and helps ensure that they get a healthy start in life. Unfortunately, the cost for kitten formula for the dozens of kittens that will need to be bottle fed during kitten season is very expensive.
