Artist Bio

Ronny Beeman’s (she, hers) initial training as an artist was focused on anatomy and classical painting techniques. From there, her interests shifted into fantasy illustration, comics, and cartoon character design. Her current artistic focus ranges from impressionist landscapes to portraits and watercolor fantasy art… any subject really! She's exhibited and published internationally, from books and magazines to galleries and some appearances at San Diego Comic Con.

In addition to being a creator, she has had the rewarding pleasure of being an art educator for nearly three decades, teaching art classes in Los Angeles, Seattle, and now in Santa Fe. Since 2017, she has taught art at Santa Fe School for Arts and Sciences K - 6th as well as being in the classroom as a teacher aid for numerous grade levels. She is a certified Waldorf instructor and taught art and held the position of after care director at Waldorf schools in Tacoma and Seattle WA. As an insecure, frequently overwhelmed child, art gave her strength, confidence, hope and joy which is now the Art School’s mission to spread to young learners everywhere!
