1 Day of Afterschool Program at Playday UES- 351 East 78th Street

SCHOOL FALL & SPRING SEMESTERS: 
MONDAY - FRIDAY 3PM - 6PM- Choose 1 single day.

PLAYDAY After School Art Program is designed for children ages 5 and up.

The program is led by experienced art educators who are passionate about helping children explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. All activities are held in a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to freely express themselves and have fun while learning.
 

Each day starts with SNACK TIME followed by 3 different activities led by our awesome staff on specific art techniques and mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and much much more. During each activity children will have the opportunity to work on their own projects, with the support and guidance of the instructor. The program encourages children to experiment with different materials and techniques, and to develop their own unique style.
 

In addition to the technical skills, the program also focuses on helping children develop social emotional awareness through developing their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. They will learn how to analyze and interpret art, as well as how to give and receive constructive feedback.
