What is a Pay it forward Bear and how does the program work?
Teddy Bear Pay It Forward Program
A small gesture can make a big difference. When you meet someone who looks like they need a little extra kindness—a stressed parent, a lonely senior, a first responder, or someone just having a rough day—gift them a tiny teddy bear as a reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
How It Works:
- Carry a few small teddy bears with you, ready to share.
- Look for someone who could use a smile—someone who seems down, overwhelmed, or simply in need of kindness.
- Hand them a bear and say something simple:“I thought you could use a little extra cheer today.”
“This bear comes with a hug—hope it brightens your day!”
“Just a little reminder that kindness is everywhere.” - Encourage them to pass it on when they meet someone who needs it.
A little bear, a big heart, and a ripple effect of kindness. - Because smiles are contagious! ð§¸ð
You never know, one might be hiding just around the corner!
Each bear comes in it's own plastic bag with a TBWH card and a poem. Bear is not for children under 3 years of age.
The bears received may not be the same bear listed here in the picture. It may vary in cut, color and clarity. Each bear is different and each batch is different.
Special Instructions
Shipping and Handling Policy
All winning bids will incur a $3 handling fee, which will be added to the winner's total.
For Auction Winners:
To Have Items Mailed: To have auction items mailed to you, you must email susie@tbwh.org within 7 days of auction close. All shipping costs shall be the winner's responsibility.
Shipping Costs: Example shipping costs are as follows. Actual costs may vary:
$7 for small envelopes
$10 for medium envelopes
$15 for large envelopes
$32 for medium boxes
$44 for large boxes
Certain items may fall outside of these categories, and you will be notified of actual shipping costs. We will always use the smallest size possible to minimize costs.
Shipping Insurance: We will ensure packages during shipping, however Teddy Bears with Heart is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
To Pick Up Items: To pick up items in person, email susie@tbwh.org within 7 days of closing to arraign pickup.
Items will be automatically shipped if local pickup has not been arraigned.
Items scheduled for local pickup and not picked up within 2 weeks of payment shall be returned to Teddy Bears with Heart for use in future auctions.
