Description
A pair of First Day of Issue postcards carrying the 1967 Thoreau stamp designed by American artist Leonard Baskin. One shows the vintage drawing of Thoreau's birth house on Virginia Road. The other carries a variation of the 1856 daguerreotype of Thoreau. Each one is postmarked from Concord, Mass. These are rare finds.
