Description

This stunning hand-turned Catalpa Oxblood Vase is a one-of-a-kind piece showcasing the natural beauty of catalpa wood, enhanced with a deep oxblood finish. The smooth curves and rich patina highlight the wood's unique grain, making it a striking addition to any collection.

Catalpa wood for this piece comes from the large branch that was trimmed off the Catalpa tree behind the Thoreau farmhouse in 2024.

Included is a custom stand designed to complement the vase, elevating its presence and providing a perfect display. A refined blend of craftsmanship and organic elegance, this piece is ideal for collectors and decor enthusiasts alike.

"Catalpa from the Thoreau farm" engraved on the bottom.
