It is with very heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of a beloved, long-term AADR family member, Wendell Morse. Wendell, along with his wife, Judy, fervently supported our rescue and all things doxie, from fostering to sitting on our Board, from attending weiner races to enjoying the camaraderie at the Halfway House picnics. And perhaps, most importantly, opening his heart to adopting... he was the proud papa of several AADR rescues - Kirby, Dash, and Jackson.

Wendell touched the lives of so many, human and canine, and will be incredibly missed. We thank him for his legacy and service to our country and will never forget his smile, kindness, friendship, zest for life, and generosity. Please join us in lighting a candle for Wendell.
