Second Grade: "Wise Owls"--mixed media on canvas (24"x36")

This collage of "wise owls" is a good reminder of James 1:5, which says, "if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." After creating owl sculptures, second-grade students also drew these small owls, which they colored with marker and water to create a watercolor effect. Their owls were then combined onto a painted canvas.
