Fourth Grade: "Butterfly Garden"--mixed media on canvas (20"x24")

Fourth-grade students learned about artwork by Jessi Raulet, an African-American artist whose brand, "EttaVee", is found in Target and other retail stores. She is known for her bright, swirling colors that give her artwork a joyful, cheerful feel. Students each designed a butterfly inspired by her work using tempera sticks and paint pens. Together the butterflies make a beautiful work of art!
