Planning to visit?
Their exhibits are currently designed for children ages 1 to 7, and some exhibits are designed for the older child as they could contain small parts.  All children are welcome, but their current exhibits are best experienced by ages 2 to 7. 

Plan on a day filled with fun and exploration with your child!  Here at CME, they strive to ensure the safety of all of our visitors, but it is the sole responsibility of parents, grandparents, and caregivers to monitor their children at all times.

Have you heard?  The Wild Place, a fenced, attractive, educational, and developmentally appropriate outdoor extension of the museum, is undergoing renovation.  In the summer of 2024, CME will unveil a redesigned Wild Place with new age-appropriate equipment, enticing trails, and areas to sit, real,x and enjoy nature.
