The staff warmly welcomes new customers as if they’re established regulars. The kitchen staff is also known to pop out and say hello. Phone Chanthavong, who works mainly in the kitchen and has more than 20 years of service industry experience, said they came up with a completely new menu that should have some familiarity. She told The Breeze that while many Thai menus offer similar dishes, they cook new recipes with different proportions and unique flair.
 
“Whether you’re craving for pad thai, larb, kao piek, som tum, drunken noodle, lad nah, or a few popular dishes or specialties, we’ve got something special for everyone,” Vanessa wrote in announcing the opening.
Some of the menu items have chili peppers next to them, indicating the default spiciness, but any given dish can be toned down or up based on the diner’s preference.
