Plant Dye Kit

Explore plant dyeing at home with this specially selected variety of plant dyes and materials. All the dyes were grown and harvested in the Fiber Craft Studio's biodynamic dye garden in 2024, and the material are all mordanted. (Mordant is an important preparation for dyeing materials that have colors stay in the fiber)

Baket includes:

Dyes- 1 oz each of Dyer's Chamomile, Dyer's Coreopsis, Marigold, Weld, Yellow Cosmos

Mordanted Materials:

• 5 - 10" Felt Squares, 70% wool / 30% rayon


• 1 - 4.3 oz Super bulky single ply yarn, 100% wool


• 2 - 6.5" x 8" Drawstring bags, 100% cotton


• 2 - 18" Square napkins, 100% cotton


• 2 - Thick felt crowns, 100% wool
