The guitar is a Fender Stratocaster signed by members of The Beach Boys and John Cowsill of The Cowsills, who also toured with The Beach Boys for over two decades. 

The Beach Boys were originally composed of brothers Brian, Carl, and Dennis Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. John Cowsill joined The Beach Boys later as a drummer and vocalist. The Cowsills, a family band, originally consisted of brothers Bill, Bob, and Barry Cowsill, later joined by brother John and siblings Susan and Pau
