Description
We love 18th Street Casa de Cultura! They are an organization of artists, musicians, educators, and advocates dedicated to honoring and cultivating the legacy of cultural and artistic expression rooted in generational practices of Chicago’s Mexicano - Latino community by utilizing ancestral cultural conocimiento or knowledge.
They have donated an amazing collection of indigenous symbols, language and culture in stickers, bookmarks, coloring books, a screen printed bandana, colorful erasers, and a lotería type game.
Check them out next time you are in Pilsen!
Special Instructions
Item will be available for pick up in one of two ways:
- If you are attending the event, you can pick up at the end of Seeds of Change on April 4.
- If you are unable to attend, the item will be available for pick up at Crossroads Fund's Logan Square office after April 15.
