Irina Zadov is an artist, educator, and cultural organizer (and good friend of Crossroads Fund). Their practice explores themes of diasporism, state violence, community resistance, and healing. Irina's creative practice is rooted in collaboration and co-creation with Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ communities. 

This stunning piece of art, entitled Permanent Ceasefire Now!, was painted by Irina in December 2023, as part of a broader campaign led by Palestinian and anti-Zionist Jewish organizers calling for an end to war, mass killings, occupation, and apartheid in Palestine.

Almost 16 months later and this piece is still heartbreakingly relevant.
