Description

Sara Peak Convery is a Chicago based visual artist and documentary filmmaker who enjoys collaborations and organizing exhibitions. Stunned by the results of the 2016 election, she began to make political artwork, reconfiguring new and used U.S. flags to express her distress with national politics. She continues to make works that address the political and humanitarian problems of contemporary America. She also works with found art and discarded objects, making new works of art with the materials at hand.

After Katie saw one of her flag pieces hanging in Perkolator Coffee, she knew she wanted one for the auction and Convery generously donated one!

Persist, Resist, Make Art is on green flag material and the print is latex paint. It measure 24" x 30" and offers extremely good advice.
