The GRAMMY Museum explores and celebrates the enduring legacies of all forms of music; the creative process; the art and technology of the recording process; and the history of the GRAMMY Awards, the premier recognition of recorded music accomplishment.
Established in 2008 as a partnership between the Recording Academy and AEG, the GRAMMY Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating a greater understanding of the history and significance of music. Paying tribute to our collective musical heritage, the Museum explores and celebrates all aspects of the art form—from the technology of the recording process to the legends who've made lasting marks on our cultural identity.
In 2017, the Museum integrated with its sister organization, the GRAMMY Foundation, to broaden the reach of its music education and preservation initiatives. As a unified organization, today, the GRAMMY Museum fulfills its mission of making music a valued and indelible part of our society through exhibits, education, grants, and public programming.
Special Instructions
All orders are subject to a $.50 shipping and handling fee. This fee will automatically add to your total purchase when the auction closes. Gift certificates will be sent via USPS or emailed if applicable. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email auction@friendsofwalgrove.com by March 28, 2025, and we will do so at your expense. If you want to pick up an item, please get in touch with us by March 28th. Otherwise, we will ship your item.
Larger items can be picked up in Los Angeles, CA, or shipped at the winning bidder's expense via USPS Priority Mail. $11 for large envelopes, $21 for medium boxes, $27 for large boxes. Some items do not fit into these categories, and you will be notified. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. We will insure packages when shipping; however, Friends of Walgrove is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
Walgrove Community: A pick-up option is available. The pick-up date at Walgrove Elementary is Friday, March 28th, from 8 am to 10 am. The location will be provided for Tuesday, April 1st, pick-up from 5-7 pm.
