Visit the Battleship USS Iowa Museum at the Los Angeles Waterfront for a unique interactive family experience. The Battleship IOWA Museum is a Top 10 regional attraction and rated one of the "Best Cool Exhibits to See With Your Kids" by CBS Los Angeles .
The USS Iowa (BB-61) Battleship IOWA Museum is owned and operated by the Pacific Battleship Center(PBC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission-driven programs focus on Youth Education, Veterans Reintegration, and Community Engagement. Over the course of 70 years, from the Second World War through the Cold War, the USS Iowa has served our country by safeguarding democracy and promoting American diplomacy.
As one of the last surviving battleships of her kind (the most powerful naval vessel ever to sail) and as the West Coast’s only battleship museum, Battleship IOWA continues her service as a museum and a tribute to America’s enduring legacy. Currently, we are transitioning to become the National Museum of the Surface Navy at Battleship IOWA.
Special Instructions
All orders are subject to a $.50 shipping and handling fee. This fee will automatically add to your total purchase when the auction closes. Gift certificates will be sent via USPS or emailed if applicable. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email auction@friendsofwalgrove.com by March 28, 2025, and we will do so at your expense. If you want to pick up an item, please get in touch with us by March 28th. Otherwise, we will ship your item.
Larger items can be picked up in Los Angeles, CA, or shipped at the winning bidder's expense via USPS Priority Mail. $11 for large envelopes, $21 for medium boxes, $27 for large boxes. Some items do not fit into these categories, and you will be notified. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. We will insure packages when shipping; however, Friends of Walgrove is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
Walgrove Community: A pick-up option is available. The pick-up date at Walgrove Elementary is Friday, March 28th, from 8 am to 10 am. The location will be provided for Tuesday, April 1st, pick-up from 5-7 pm.
