John Scalzi is the New York Times best selling author of 19 novels, including Old Man's War, the Hugo-winning Redshirts, and most recently When the Moon Hits Your Eye. He's also written non-fiction books on finance, astronomy and film, and has one of the longest-running personal blogs in the world, Whatever, from which five collections of essays have been published. His work as an author and screenwriter have appeared in the Emmy-winning Netflix series Love Death + Robots. He is a former president of SFWA and has taught writing at Clarion and Viable Paradise. He lives in Ohio.
