The other is of the majestic Monticello in its pastoral setting. Given the coloring of each in brick red on cream colored plates with glossy finishes, they make a lovely pair for your wall or library shelf. Please check the pictures for information on the plates' condition and manufacture. The Betsy Ross plate was produced by the Homer Laughlin China Co in Philadephia, PA. Pictured are a few small chips on its back and some crazing. The Monticello plate was created by Wedgwood Etruria England per the bottom mark. It has minor flaws from the manufacturing process.
