Some fun facts...

Kwan graduated from Washington High School in Fremont and attended Oregon State University.  In 2018, Kwan and his team made it to the College World Series and became National Champions.  Kwan was drafted by the then - Cleveland Indians in the 5th round of the 2018 MLB draft and he made his MLB debut in 2022.

Kwan became just the sixth player since 1901 to have a five-hit game within his first three major league games, and also became the first player since at least 1901 to reach base safety 15 times in his first four games.  He saw 116 pitches before he swung and missed, the most for any batter to start his career since 2000.  

Kwan as AL Rookie of the Year finalist (3rd in voting) and was the Gold Glove winner in 2022, 2023, and 2024.  Kwan is one of only three players to win a Gold Glove in their first three seasons.  The other two players are Nolan Arenado and Ichiro Suzuki.
