Friendship is a tender and joyful artwork created by five-year-old Amelia Griffin. It beautifully combines traditional Chinese calligraphy with the innocence of a child’s drawing, bridging timeless wisdom with youthful expression. The inscription translates as: “Deep affection and sincere goodwill in friendship,” and is also rendered in English and Spanish, highlighting how friendship transcends languages and cultures.

Amelia’s drawing of two smiling figures, side by side with the handwritten words “I miss you,” captures the essence of companionship and care. Simple yet profound, the piece speaks to the universal need for connection and the comfort found in the bonds we form.
