Description

Sancerre is a French wine appellation in the eastern part of the Loire Valley, France, known for producing the eponymous Sancerre blanc from the sauvignon blanc grape. The classic profile is a medium bodied, bone dry and highly aromatic wine with aromas of peaches and gooseberries.

Lesser known is the delightfully fresh Sancerre rouge from pinot noir, described as dry and light bodied with raspberry, black currant and strawberry notes.

This selection includes 3 bottles of 2022 Sancerre Rouge, Les Rimbardes (Wine Enthusiast rating 92) and 3 bottles of 2023 Sancerre Blanc, Philippe Girard.

Enjoy the best of the Loire Valley, France.
