This fully guided kayak tour takes participants through the stunning La Jolla Ecological Reserve and along the famous La Jolla Sea Caves—some of San Diego’s most iconic coastal attractions. The Ecological Reserve and Underwater Park, a protected marine area, is a popular spot for snorkelers, divers, and kayakers who want to explore its rich biodiversity with care and respect. Visitors may encounter leopard sharks, vibrant Garibaldi (California’s state marine fish), lush kelp forests, sea lions, and even dolphins on occasion.
Led by knowledgeable and experienced guides, the tour includes fascinating insights into the history and natural beauty of La Jolla. Guides ensure a safe experience while navigating past the sea caves and, when ocean conditions allow, leading kayakers through one. This adventure is ideal for ages 6 and up and requires no prior kayaking experience.
