Carlo Valte - $150 music lesson or coaching session

Valid for one lesson or coaching session (60-90 mins) in the following:
1) Classical, acoustic or electric guitar: classical, jazz, contemporary or world music. Bass guitar, Oud or Hand percussion.
2) Techniques of music: improvisation, reading, ear training, theory, arranging in classical or contemporary styles and music tech.
3) Audition preparation (for college, music festivals, or summer camps): live or studio AV recordings or remotely (zoom/skype/etc).
4) Test prep (music AP, theory and ear training placement tests for college or summer programs).
5) Intro to music for complete beginners, all ages, includes rhythm talk, body percussion and improvisation as well as learning how to choose an instrument.

Carlo Valte is a renowned performer and educator, currently a faculty member of The Newschool and Mannes Prep department.  He performs on Oud and Guitar.  Hear the 2024 release of Chasing Home by Joseph Thalken on all streaming platorms, written for Oud and chamber orchestra and recorded with the Dallas Chamber Symphony.  Carlo's past recordings are with Albany Records, One Soul Records, Vienna Modern Masters, and NY Collegium.
