Career shadowing Experience with Dr. Stavros Memtsoudis at the Hospital for Special Surgery at 535 East 70th Street, on the Upper East Side.

Step into the world of medicine with an exclusive morning alongside Dr. Stavros Memtsoudis, MD, PhD, MBA, Chief of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Management at Hospital for Special Surgery. Two winning students will gain an inside look at the intersection of clinical care and the management of a world-renowned medical department. The experience will include:

-Breakfast with Dr. Memtsoudis
-A behind-the-scenes hospital tour, including patient floors, cadaver labs, and an operating room*.
-A meet-and-greet with multidisciplinary hospital clinicians.
-A hands-on CPR/airway management lesson.
-Exclusive HSS swag.

- *Note: Only students 18 and older are permitted to see functioning operating rooms; students under 18 can view operating rooms not currently in-use.
