Case of Bahl Fratty Riesling

Item Number: 5050
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Celebrated wine columnist Dan Berger is now producing and releasing white wines he “always wished someone was making.” Dubbing his new venture Enological Suicide eGG, he is sourcing from top quality vineyards well known to him and the expert winemakers working with him, such as Greg LaFollette.
Bahl Fratty, the brand name on the wine, means “great wine” in the obscure language of Boontling once spoken by settlers in the Anderson Valley wine region in northern California.
The wine is from Las Brisas Vineyard in the Carneros region in south Napa. Made by Greg LaFollette, this Riesling has good clean fruit and acidity and low Ph. Delicious now but it can also be aged for at least 10 years.
