Description
Since 1885 the world-famous Skunk Train in Mendocino County has made its way through old-growth redwood groves, over scenic trestle bridges, through spectacular tunnels, and into the heart of the Noyo River canyon. Today’s riders enjoy the same pristine views that have remained largely unchanged for well over a century.
You’ll receive two tickets for Pudding Creek Express, a relaxed and scenic 7-mile roundtrip journey departing Fort Bragg year-round on some of the first tracks ever laid down by the California Western Railroad in 1885. Travel through primeval ancient redwoods to the tranquil setting of Glen Blair Junction, get off, stretch your legs and explore.
The train includes a bar car with snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as an open-air car, perfect for enjoying all this route has to offer.
