Like many successful ventures, Papapietro Perry Winery was hatched in a garage–a handful of friends in San Francisco committed to making their own Pinot Noir to drink and to have a bunch of fun in the process. Fortunately for them, they had Ben Papapietro as their winemaker. Now the winery has earned success and is well established, but the simple desire to craft the best Pinot Noir–and to keep the whole thing decidedly fun – is what makes the Papapietro Perry Winery a great place to visit and the wine in the bottle so special.

Winemaker’s notes: “This 2016 Sonoma Coast is a good one. Like many of the other wines from this vintage, the color is a surprisingly deep dark garnet. On the nose there is deep red and blue berry fruit with generous spice and toast notes. The palate delivers a rich blend of dark cherry, raspberry and tangy pomegranate fruit flavors. Great balance and nice long finish. A great all-around Pinot.”

Included is a tasting for 4 on the beautiful extended patio that overlooks the iconic Dry Creek Valley of award-winning wines. Each four flight tasting experience is guided by a knowledgeable winery host. Your choice of a charcuterie board or curated Volo Chocolate sampling are available by request.
