McCall Nicola Cuvee Sauvignon Blanc 2020, North Fork Long Island, New York, USA

Wine Advocate 90:

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Cuvée Nicola is unoaked, very dry (less than a gram of residual sugar and 8.5 of total acidity) and comes in at 12.8% alcohol. Light in mouthfeel but substantial on the finish, this adds those green nuances on the palate and the nose, and then it finishes nicely fresh. While it is clearly Sauvignon Blanc, it doesn't go too far. It never becomes annoying in its vegetal aspects. Overall, this is delightful. It may hold a few years, but I would drink it very young (like now) to preserve its exuberance. Drink 2021-2025

Talbot Sleepy Hollow Estate Chardonnay 2011, Santa Lucia Highlands, California, USA

Wine Advocate 92:

More layered, with additional richness and depth, the 2011 Chardonnay Sleepy Hollow Vineyard has loads of ripe golden apple, orange marmalade, white flowers and brioche that flow seamlessly to a medium-bodied, rich and beautifully textured palate. Showing juicy acidity and solid clarity and detail on the finish, it’s a beautiful Chardonnay. Drink now

Walter Hansel Estate Chardonnay 2017, Russian River, California, USA

 Vinous 93, Wine Advocate 93:

The 2017 Chardonnay Estate is from vines planted in 1976 and 1989. It has a lovely, toasty nose with pie crust and baking spice, warm peaches, quince paste, lemon curd and citrus blossom with notes of tangerine peel, toasted hazelnut and spring honey. Medium to full-bodied, it's silky textured and has intense layers of warm fruits and savory, spicy notions, with juicy acidity to counter and a long, layered finish. Gorgeous!  Drink 2020-2030. Philippe Colin Bourgogne Blanc 2009, Bourgogne, France

Wine Spectator 88:

On the juicy side, with tangy acidity and grapefruit peel notes accenting apple, peach and spice flavors. Hints at mineral on the finish.

Mont-Perat Blanc 2015, Bordeaux, France

 Wine Advocate 89:

The 2015 Mont-Perat Blanc is distinctly textured and honeyed in the glass. Lemon confit, white flowers and chamomile give the 2015 much of its extroverted, racy personality.

Olivier Chanzy Montagny Le Vieux Chateau 1er Cru 2014, Bordeaux, France

Burghound 88; Wine Spectator 87:

A sharp, linear white, exhibiting matchstick, lemon and spice aromas and flavors. Angular and deep, if a bit jumbled. WS
