Description
This year's online auction is proving that art has no age limit, and our youngest donor, 5-year-old Colton, is the proof! Colton loved creating his Lego flower set and decided he wanted to help raise funds for Veriditas by donating it. We are starting the bidding at $1.00.
Colton is the youngest son of Auction Coordinator (and Veriditas Staff Member) Jenny Slama. Year-over-year hosting the Veriditas Annual Online Auction becomes a family affair in the Slama household. Did you know the majority of the photography in the auction happens right on our family dining room table? That means we get first opportunity to admire the beautiful donations that flow in from our generous donors.
So it's easy to see why this project inspired the youngest heart here in our family, and in September Colton decided to donate his carefully crafted lego daffodils that he assembled for our 2025 auction. We've paired it with a small vase, adorned with a labyrinth sticker. The arrangement measures approximately 12 inches tall.
A huge thank you to Colton for proving that artists—and generosity—come in all sizes. Don't miss your chance to bid on his unique creation and all the other amazing works from artists of all ages!
**Colton would also like me to officially mention that he turns 6 this week - and he feels that's important to note. Happy Birthday, artist and donor Colton Slama.**
