Spirit of an Old Tree, 2021, acrylic, 30" x 30"
This painting is of La Mer Bleue in the fall when the blueberry patches turn red. I did many paintings of this beautiful place in the suburbs of Ottawa. I use acrylic paint because it allows me to work quickly putting down several layers of colour to achieve my vision.

Cette peinture représente La Mer Bleue en automne, lorsque les buissons de bleuets deviennent rouges. J’ai réalisé plusieurs peintures de cet endroit magnifique, dans la banlieue d’Ottawa. La peinture acrylique me permet de travailler rapidement en appliquant plusieurs couches pour réaliser ma vision.
Special Instructions
Pina-Manoni-Rennick was born in Bassano Romano north of Rome, Italy, moved to Ottawa in 1965 with her family. She paints in acrylic at her studio "The Loft Art Studios" and on plein air. She displayed her works in many group shows and shown her work at the Cube Gallery, Electric Street Gallery, Artprior Gallery and The Ottawa Art Gallery.
Pina-Manoni-Rennick est née à Bassano Romano, au nord de Rome, en Italie. En 1965, elle déménage à Ottawa avec sa famille. Elle peint à l’acrylique dans son atelier « The Loft Art Studios » et aussi en plein air. Elle a présenté ses œuvres dans de nombreuses expositions de groupe et a présenté ses travaux à la Cube Gallery, à la Electric Street Gallery, à la Artprior Gallery et à la Galerie d’art d’Ottawa.
