What goes up must come… explore le centre-ville d’Ottawa à l’aide de plusieurs photos et réinvente le paysage changeant du quartier. L’œuvre combine collage et résine, et reconstruit physiquement des images pour créer un nouveau paysage urbain unifié. Le mouvement dynamique de la résine accentue la tension et la fragilité qui se retrouvent au sein du changement continu de la ville.

Jessica O’Lear is a non-binary artist and MFA graduate from the University of Ottawa. Using photography and collage, they explore cities in a constant state of flux, revealing the tension between evolving structures and fragmented perceptions. Their work has been exhibited globally, including in Canada, the USA, and the UK.
