Using a variety of threads, colour and weights, I create pieces with finely stitched details on a painted fabric base. I use my sewing machine as my choice of artist’s tool, no different from a paintbrush or pencil.

Special Instructions
I am a textile artist specializing in free motion embroidery. My work is influenced by the detailed natural elements of landscapes, particularly those surrounding the Ottawa area. The shape, form and movement of the continually changing landscape provides inspiration.
