Chanticleer has been called the most romantic, imaginative, and exciting public garden in America. The garden is a study of textures and forms, where foliage trumps flowers, the gardeners lead the design, and even the drinking fountains are sculptural. Chanticleer is open 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Sunday, and until 8pm on Fridays May through August 29, 2025. In 2025 the garden opens at 8am on the first Saturday of each month: Saturdays April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4, and November 1.
