WCAX welcomes you and up to three others (or your entire family if your family has more than four members between parents and children) to see how television programs are produced from research and reporting to writing and presenting the news. See the control room and studio facilities, ask questions, and get the chance to try your hand at doing the weather. We’ll make keepsake recordings of your weathercasts for you to have, along with some small gifts for visiting. Depending upon your schedule’s availability, you may be able to watch a newscast produced live as well.

The tour and recording should take around an hour, longer if your schedule includes watching part of a newscast being produced.
