Created from Recovered Wood

This beautiful bowl was created from wood recovered from the monkeypod trees on the Baldwin Home Museum property. The trees were damaged beyond rescue by the 2023 Lahaina Wildfire and had to be removed for health and safety.

Created by Richard Blue, a member of the Maui Woodturners Association.

Richard enjoys working on his lathe making small to medium projects.
