Artist Statement:
A dead fish I photographed near disposable cups at a local beach inspired 'Codlution.' Its head is featured here, as well as Marblehead's lighthouse as the tail - a reminder that plastic pollution in our oceans devastates marine ecosystems everywhere and that we are all impacted.
Artist Biography:
Alessandra's work is featured in galleries, art festivals, and juried shows nationwide. Her photography spans nature, minimalism, and happenstantial images, while her painting and drawing studies inspire her digital collages, pushing boundaries of form and expression.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
